Whitemud Ravine Interpretive Signage

This project began as a collaborative assignment in a senior design class at the University of Alberta: the City of Edmonton requested a design system to revamp their existing interpretive signage in the Whitemud Ravine Park. Together with my amazing project partner Jayden Fandrick, we created a bright signage system that would stand out in the white Edmonton winters, focusing on the relationship between species in the River Valley to inspire the layout of each sign. Our proposal was selected by the City of Edmonton representatives, and we went on to develop the system further and create six signs each for the City. You can see these signs in the wild by heading north on the walking trails from Snow Valley!
Larger 23x17 inch signs show two or more related species
